Steve moved to Key West in 1979 after getting a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. Before coming to Key West Steve received his Broker’s License in the State of Florida in 1972. After arriving in Key West, Steve was involved in the construction and sale of hundreds of new condominiums, apartments and townhouses.
In 1980 Steve met and married his wife Paula who is a 2nd grade teacher for the Key West School District and shortly after had a son Mitch who is a CPA in the State of Florida.
Prior to joining Sellstate Island Properties, Steve worked for several local real estate offices, as well as owning his own real estate company until 1996. Now, Steve primarily focuses on selling houses and foreclosures through Sellstate Island Properties.
Steve is an active member in the Key West community, involved with the Rotary Club of Key West, was the Mosquito Commissioner from 1990-93, Director of the Chamber of Commerce in the 80’s , past president of Key West Association of Realtors in 1988, past President of the Key West of Jaycees in 1987, is an avid fisherman and a local artist.
When Steve is not working he enjoys engaging in his artistic talents, fishing and spending time with his wife Paula and son Mitch.
